My name is Daphene Crisafulli, and I am a North Carolina muralist, faux finisher, and decorative artist. Painting in many forms has been a source of immense pleasure for me for many years, and I derive great personal satisfaction from my work. I have sold my painted pieces throughout North Carolina, and I have done mural and border painting as well as stenciling and faux finishing in private homes and commercial establishments. Aside from walls, I have painted
just about every surface there is, and I constantly strive for perfection. My
painting styles range from whimsical to very realistic depending on my subject
and purpose. I especially enjoy painting children's decor which tends to be
very whimsical in nature, but I also enjoy realistic subjects as you can see in
some of my murals.
In addition to the above, I am also a decorative painting instructor certified by the Plaid Company. I teach privately and in a local community college.
